Less Than Jake werden am 11. Dezember 2020 ihr heißerwartetes neues Album namens Silver Linings veröffentlichen, das über Pure Noise Records erscheinen wird. Das erste Album der Ska-Punks-Pioniere aus Florida seit geschlagenen sieben Jahren!
Wir nahmen den bevorstehenden Output zum Anlass Bassist Roger Lima sechs Bands aus seiner Heimat Gainesville vorstellen zu lassen.

1Arrows In Action
Very melodic and well-crafted songs. Victor is a great singer and their newer singles really showcase his vocal skills! Cool rhythms, shredder guitar player, and nothing not to like if you dig some candy coating on your pop-punk ala All Time Low and Fall Out Boy.

Still cranking out catchy pop-punk some 25 years into their band, No More remains one of my favorite Gainesville bands. Jen Vito’s lead vocals are powerful, with meaningful lyrics, giving comments on social and political points of view. They should be on your radar if you’re a fan of strong, girl-fronted punk

This band has been kicking around for nearly 10 years already, they have songs that span a range of styles, and always have a familiar but fresh sound. Great drums and grooves, and on other songs, total craziness!

I can’t skip this chance to introduce some of you to my other band! Lots of fast punk ala NOFX, insane drums, and yours truly on vocals and guitars. This track came out earlier this year. It’s kind of a poppy one with a groovy bridge part. Always fun when i find time to make some noise with Alex and Tony!

6Coffee Project
Many may not know that Buddy, who plays trombone in Less Than Jake, also has another project that has been going strong. A staple at THE FEST, this duo strums heartfelt tunes on acoustic guitars with some occasional trombone. Awesome vibes!
