Cock Sparrer präsentieren uns mit Take It On The Chin den ersten neuen Song seit drei Jahren. Der Track stammt von den Sampler Oi! 40 Years Untamed, der am 11. Dezember über Pirate Press Records erschienen ist.

40 years ago, Garry Bushell stuck us on Oi! The Album. Those early compilations certainly gave punk the kick it needed and our lives probably wouldn’t be the same today without that new breed of punk being given the exposure he gave it back then. So when Gal got in contact to say he was doing a special 40th Anniversary Oi! album and would we contribute a track we headed back into the studio as we wanted to put something fresh on and not a re-re-re release! We’ve just received our copies and have to say it’s a blinder. Great new tracks from many bands. With the old school represented by us, Cockney Rejects, Business, Last Resort, the Gonads and even a Prole track (about time a full length Prole album was done). There’s the cream of the crop of the newer bands too stretching from America to Germany and France via the UK. Showing that Oi is a worldwide movement.
