Nachdem Ausstieg von Frontmann Makka stehen die Australier CROWNED KINGS aktuell ohne Sänger da. Dies gab die Band auf ihrer Facebook Seite bekannt.
Als Grund nennt die Band, dass Makka sich mehr auf seine Arbeit konzentrieren möchte. Wohl ein wenig scherzhaft wird hinzugefügt, um Ziegen aufzuziehen und Menschen dem dunklen Lord zu opfern.
Neben vielen Danksagungen an die Fans, Booking Agentur, Bands und Label, geht ein besonderer Dank an die Band Sick Of It All. Diese nahmen die Jungs mit auf ihre 30 Jahre Jubiläumstour 2016 durch Europa.
Erst dieses Jahr veröffentlichte die 2010 gegründete Band mit Sea Of Misery ihr aktuelles Album. Unser Review könnt ihr hier nochmal lesen.
Wie und mit welchem Sänger es weitergehen wird steht noch nicht fest, aber von einer Auflösung ist keine Rede. Im folgenden könnt ihr euch das gesamte Statement durchlesen.
Today we announce that Makka has decided to step away as CK vocalist to focus on his work, raising his goats and sacrificing humans to the dark lord himself (We think). He wanted to thank everyone that has ever supported CK, Came to a show, Bought merch and banged their heads, All the great friends he’s made here and abroad over the years, all the show promoters and M.A.D tour bookings that made the dream possible to tour the world. Much respect to every band we’ve played shows with since the start of Crowned Kings. A big shout out to Sick of it all for taking us on our first two tours of Europe, absolute legends and we will never forget that.
Saying that I would like to personally thank Makka for all his hard work and dedication to the band forever striving and growing as a vocalist. His presence on and off stage will be missed by all.
