1Do you remember the first hardcore / punk show you went to? Is the club still open today?

Man, I honestly do know remember. I think I have brain damage. Some early local clubs that were important for us though were Seas-Seas in Pa., The Pipeline in NJ, and CBGBs in NY. None of them exist today unfortunately.

2What is your all-time favorite club or location?

My favorite club is Club Reverb in Reading Pa. and The Underworld in London. Both of those venues feel at home to us.

3Do you remember the first hardcore / punk record you got?

Victim in Pain from Agnostic Front on cassette. I remember the very plain but striking black cover. Didn’t take me long to fall in love with that release.

4In your opinion what is the perfect hardcore show?

I would say, a small dark venue with good sound, Terror opening and Agnostic Front playing One Voice. That would be awesome.

5What is your all-time favorite show you’ve played?

Man, that’s really hard to say. Between Tsunami Fest and This is Hardcore we had some great shows, the crowd was really good to us, and it was a ton of fun.

6Is there a show you missed in the past that still makes you angry that you could not be there?

Yea, just recently I missed Madball at this years Black n Blue Bowl. I saw some videos and got really fucking pissed that I missed it.

7What band would you like to see again?

Product of Waste, but unfortunately that will never happen. R.I.P.

8Is there a person who has influenced you especially in hardcore / punk?

Craig from Sick of it All. His resume is second to none, his musicianship and tone is top notch and unique. His reputation is great, and I consider him a great friend.

9What are you top 3 hardcore-punk front men (women)?

Freddy Madball, Scott Terror, Myke District 9.

10What is in your opinion the most underrated hardcore-punk band?

Product of Waste from RI. I wish more people knew them.

11Are there some newer bands you could mention?

Yes, Gloves Off are great! There’s Departed they are super heavy with a black metal influence, Dissent are dope too.

Wisdom In Chains werden am 20. Juli ihr neues Album Nothing In Nature Respects Weakness über Demons Run Amok Entertainment veröffentlichen.
