Shoreline präsentieren uns mit Meat Free Youth pünktlich zum Wochenende eine neue Single. Zum Song, der ein Guestpart von Em Foster (Nervus, Milk Teeth) enthält, hat die Band ein Musikvideo abgedreht, das ihr am Ende des Beitrags findet.
Meat Free Youth is about treating animals and our environment with respect. We do not own them, pigs, cows, chicken are not here for us, they are here with us.
I understand if you are still eating meat, we’ve all been raised as meat eaters in the band and making the decision to abandon animal products from our diet took a while.
So thank you for taking the time to reflect your lifestyle, if you have questions you can always ask.One last thing before I shout out everyone involved in this project: I don’t believe that buying vegan, „green“ products from any company will save the planet. Some are trying really hard to convice you that we can consume our way out of the climate crisis. It takes political action not a fairytale about market-self regulation.
Gleichzeitig gaben Shoreline mit End Hits Records ein neues Label bekannt, über dem wir in den nächsten Monaten dann auch einen neuen Output der Münsteraner erwarten können.
Das Quartett legte 2019 mit Eat My Soul ihr erstes Studioalbum vor, das noch über Uncle M Music erschienen ist. Ende des Jahres soll es für Shoreline dann als Support von Nathan Gray auf große Europa-Tour gehen. Hier die Termine und das neue Video:
